All of our chains are 18K gold plated. To make sure they keep their gorgeous lustre for many years to come we recommend to not wear them in the shower or pool as over time chemicals and ingredients from soap substances can wear away the plating or just leave unsightly deposits.
To keep your chain sparkling, give it a wipe and polish with a jewellery cloth whenever needed. You can dampen the cloth in a gentle soap and water mixture for this too. Avoid spraying perfumes directly on jewellery. Perfumes usually contain alcohol which can erode even the toughest platings on jewellery over time.
Last but not least: your bathroom is not the right place to store jewellery as it is typically the room with the most moisture in the air ;)
