Do you do exchanges?

Taxes
Are taxes included in your prices?

All of our prices include all relevant taxes. The price you see is the price you will pay.

Can you provide a VAT receipt?

The system will send you a receipt by email. We do not generally include physical receipts in the order, although sometimes we are required to for international orders.

If you require a VAT receipt to be emailed to you, please contact us with your order number. Our VAT number is GB237294393.

Will there be extra taxes in Europe?

There may be extra taxes and import duties to pay to your government. Usually the delivery company will collect these from you. Each country has different rules, and are implementing them differently for orders arriving from the UK.

Will there be extra taxes to countries outside Europe?

Yes, it is possible your country will impose import duties and taxes on your items. Every country has different rules. You are responsible for any taxes your country charges you.

Many countries have free trade agreements with each other. For the UK this is currently in turmoil. Therefore we cannot currently know what your country might charge in import duties.

Some countries charge taxes when goods arrive from abroad. If this occurs, you may receive a letter from your delivery service requiring you to pay a fee before you receive your goods. This fee may include the taxes and a service charge.

These taxes are charged to you by the government of your country and we cannot be held responsible for them.

Please check the laws in your own country if you are not sure of them, and consider any possible extra charges in calculating the total cost of your order. You may also be charged processing fees for collection of these taxes and duties.

The USA & Australia shouldn't charge, for example, but Canada & Singapore might. Please check the laws in your own country if you are not sure of them.

Products
What sizes do your prints come in?

We have a number of different sized prints. Our main range are all Din A4, which is 21 X 29.7 cm (8.3 X 11.7 inch). We also have Din A5 (14.8 X 21 cm - 5.8 X 8.3 inches) and Din A3 (29.7 X 42 cm - 11.7 X 16.5 inches).

Our Giclée range are in sizes 20.32 cm square (8 inch) and 30.48 square (12 inch), as well as A4, A3 and A2.

We are slowly adding larger sizes to different print ranges. If you want something particular, please ask..we might be able to arrange it for you.

What is the difference between matte and giclée prints?

The difference is in the paper. The giclée prints are printed on Hahnemuhle 308gsm fine art paper. This is a stunning acid/lignin free museum quality paper with high age resistance. Matte prints are on Archival Matte 189gsm paper. They are both printed using pigment based inks.

Do you sell originals or limited editions?

Dodo's original artwork is created in a number of different forms, including acrylic painting on canvas, paper collages, ink drawings or digital art. In their original forms, art can be extremely expensive to buy and only one person can own it. Our wish is to make our art available to everyone to decorate their homes and lives, and to make it as inexpensive as possible, so you can maybe make an art wall. We don't normally sell the originals, and we don't normally sell limited editions of the prints either, as they mostly serve to artificially raise the prices which we try to avoid.

How can I display your prints?

You can use the prints in many ways, either framed or unframed. Some people leave them in the bag and tape them to the wall or lean them on the mantlepiece. Others clip them up using pegs or a clipboard, or clips on a rope across their room. You can use your creativity and find a magical way to display them.

How do you package your prints?

The prints are sealed in a clear display bag with a backing board for protection. The envelope we send them in will also have a strong backing board to protect your prints further. A5, A4 and A3 prints are usually sent flat packed while A2 prints may be rolled in a tube. If your order contains an A2 print, the entire order may be rolled into a tube. If you have a particular preference of how you would like your prints sent, please let us know.

Do you supply frames?

Some of our prints are available framed. They are quite expensive, however, so we always encourage you to frame yourself. When you are out shopping keep your eyes open for frames...they are everywhere!

Opening a frame and putting in the print is a quick and easy task, and frames come in so many styles and colours, you will find a much better selection in your town than we can offer with our limited resources.

If you definitely want us to supply a print framed, do a search for "framed" and see the price ranges for equivalent framed prints, then contact us and let us know which print you had in mind and we will make it happen.

What sizes are your greeting cards?

Our cards are printed on FSC certified 300gsm Callisto Diamond White board.

The majority of our cards are Din A6 in size when folded closed. (10.5 X 15 cm - 4.1 X 5.9 inches)

We also have a series of cards (Exotic Birds) which are square, 15cm X 15cm. (5.9 inches).

Do your cards come with envelopes?

Most of our cards come with a colourful envelope, the colour of which you can choose on the product page, or we will choose one at random if you don't. The square cards come with white envelopes only.
