Shipping to the USA: What’s Going On?
🇺🇸 Shipping to the USA: What’s Going On?
TL;DR: US customers can still order prints (yay!), but everything else is temporarily unavailable due to new tariff rules.
Dear Lovely People of the USA,
We hate to be the bearers of boring (and expensive) news, but as of August 29th, 2025, the US government is scrapping something called the “de minimis” exemption - a rule that used to let small international packages slip through without extra charges.
What does this mean for you?
Even for small items, you’ll now be required to pay import tariffs - 10% on anything sent from the UK. But wait, it gets worse: couriers are charging processing fees of $20 or more just to collect that 10% for the government.
And if we send your order via the usual international mail (Royal Mail in the UK → USPS in the US), brace yourself... there could be a minimum $80 fee just for the pleasure of receiving your package. Yes, even for a single $15 pin.
We wish we were making this up.
So what are we doing?
To avoid subjecting you to absurd fees, we’re pausing shipments of physical goods to the USA, except for one glorious exception: art prints.
We’ve partnered with a trusted US-based print studio who will lovingly produce and ship your artwork from within the States. No weird fees. No customs delays. No heartbreak.
What about everything else?
For now, greeting cards, bags, pins, and other non-print items are off the menu for US customers. We hope this is a temporary blip and that a smarter, fairer system will emerge soo - maybe one where we can prepay the tariff and skip the ridiculous add-ons.
Until then, we thank you for your patience and understanding. If we could smuggle our pins to you hidden inside a sandwich, we would. But customs probably wouldn’t go for that.
