Christmas isn't a season for restraint, so we didn't bother. This is where diedododa goes full tinsel: hanging decorations you'll want three of, cards that say what everyone's thinking after the second bottle, and prints of nutcrackers, egg nog and jelly that look like they've already started on the sherry. Deck the halls, then deck the kitchen, the bathroom and the bit of wall you've been meaning to do something with. Celebrations are for celebrating, after all, and if that involves a slightly wobbly walk back from the drinks table, we consider that a job well done. Get in, go overboard, and have a very merry one.
