Gemstone Alphabet B Greeting Card
B is for Beryl.
Beryl comes in many shapes, colours and sizes. Certain colours of Emerald (the not so green ones) are known as Beryl. Aquamarine is also a type of Beryl.
First eye-glasses were made of beryl or other crystal as glass could not be made clear enough. The name in certain languages still reflects the beryl association - bril in Dutch and Brille in German.
The Gemstone Alphabet combines a minimalist aesthetic of bold striped initial letters with geometrically striking and unusual gemstones and minerals. Science..but sexy!
