In celebration of welcoming my new @sdxtronkirk neighbour @hilaryjanekeyes I gave my own wall a new exhibition! ✨ These round birds are not new. In fact they go back to 2014 and mark the moment in time in which my work started exploding into colour. Strangely that moment was not a joyful or colourful one: my mum fell severely ill, a condition she would eventually pass away from. There was immensely hopelessness and suddenly my usual darkly hued drawings and paintings only added to it; making me seek positivity, joy, and lightness in the shape of these birds.
