Peekaboo Dodo🦤 * Here’s me with a lovely set of 5 commissioned paintings! They will all hang together in a a lovely rural place with the nicest people. The idea behind this was an echo and celebration of the nature and wildlife that surrounds the place…while also sitting well with the colours and textures of the overall interior design… I am very picky with the commissions I take because the pieces and subject matter they depict live with me mentally and physically (hello hallway studio 🙃). While working on them they are always on my mind in some way or other. Knowing this I never take commissions that don’t challenge, interest or intrigue me. This one did all of those things. I hope that with the start of the new year I will find some time to write about this one and some of the other commissioned pieces I did this year!
