Cubism! I went through a phase in my late teens where I was fascinated by the genre. These are some of my old paintings.
When I first started out drawing and painting it was most important to me to be able to capture things realistically. To do that you need to really observe and understand an object/person and the shapes it is comprised of. An almost scientific analysis of the subject matter.
Cubism always seemed like a next logical step:
